First formed in 1986 and having worked extensively across all of Cyprus for nearly 40 years.
Joining forces with Imatech, its sister international brand in 2019, allowed the further growth of the family business we see today.

Family History
Part of the Cypriot building industry for nearly 40 years, Imatech Kounna are not only part of the Larnaca community, we actively participate in bringing life to the area with restoration projects focused on improving life and surroundings for all.
The Aradippou square project focused on not only the restoration work of the museum and Art Gallery, it focused on bringing Cypriot families and friends togethers in our community. Breathing new life into the area.
The Aradippou square now features 3 new tavernernas and ice cream shops that have all opened up in the since Imatech Kounna since project completion.

Time Line
1986
Founded in 1986 as a family business operating across the construction and civil sectors.
1991
The business was awarded the Class A permit in construction works by the Cyprus Board of Registered Constructors and Civil works.
1991
In the same year, we also achieved the Class B permit for civil works.
1995
1995 saw the founding of Roadtec Industries which manufactures a large range of pre-fabricated concrete products
2001
2001 sadly saw the loss of one of the founding members, Vasos Kounna.
2002
2002 the company constructed its first fleet maintenance depot.
2004
2004 saw the expansion and construction of its own dedicated offices to run the full operations from.

Focused on a growing portfolio of projects across different sectors from regional Larnaca to nationwide projects across Cyprus.

This growth has served to increase the range of plant and equipment, skilled personnel, network of partners and subcontractors to always ensure our quality of work is delivered to the highest standard.
2019
In 2019 the company partnered with Imatech Ltd and became Imatech Kounna Ltd with a major injection of expertise, board and directors.
